As we start to feel that our laugh lines are deepening or our foreheads are looking as wrinkled as a Shar Pei, our first instinct is to ask, how can I fix this? When you squint, smile, raise your eyebrows or frown, muscles contract causing the skin to furrow and fold. Where to use Botox™?
Our facial expressions cause lines around our mouths, in the corner of our eyes, between our eyes and across our forehead, it does not mean that all of these need Botox™. By injecting Botox™ into the muscles in small amounts, it causes the muscles to relax and the lines will no longer form. Therefore, it’s used in places like the forehead to alleviate the lines caused by our muscles contracting when we squint and raise our eyebrows. It is not used to fill the lines around our mouths or to make our lips bigger. Using Botox to enhance your lips will be quite scary!
Can it reduce early signs of aging?
