Laser light is an energy that is converted to heat and is attracted to melanin or color. The color of the hair follicle absorbs the lasers light or energy and pulls it down to the root of the hair follicle cutting off the blood supply that allows the hair to grow. At any given time approximately 20% of your hair is actively growing and attached to the root vulnerable to the lasers energy. Your Consultation
Whatever brings you into Alazzo Med Spa, your visit is going to start with a thorough consultation. We discuss your medical history and your goals, then we perform an evaluation of your skin and hair. Your expert consultant and provider will discuss your options and help you decide what laser is right for you.
Step 2
The Treatment
When we determine the right laser hair removal approach to meet your goals, we can move forward with scheduling your treatments. Our laser hair removal treatments come in packages of 6 to ensure a thorough reduction in hair growth. You will get comfortable in a treatment room and your provider will apply the laser therapy.
Step 3
Aftercare and Follow-up
Your provider will ensure you have a thorough understanding of every aspect of the aftercare for your laser hair removal treatment. Redness or a slight irritation may last for a few hours to a few days dependent on the texture and amount of hair in the treatment area. Normal activity and use of products may be resumed immediately.
We schedule follow-up treatments every 4 weeks for the face, every 4 to 6 weeks for the mid-body, and every 6 -8 weeks for the legs.

Results are typically noted after your first treatment. In about 7 to 10 days after your procedure, the hair in the treated area will shed. This results in a “honeymoon” phase where you experience limited hair growth. The destroyed hairs will not return, but other hairs entering into the growth phase start to show about the time for you to return for your next treatment.
