Our Frax 1550 is non-ablative laser that creates results with little to no downtime.

A: Most skin damage occurs from sun or UV ray exposure. A daily application of SPF 35 or above will help to minimize the effects of sun exposure reducing damage. Combined with a quality skin care regimen will help maintain and enhance results. Speak with your provider to see what skin care would be right for you.
A: Treatment process can be “spicy”. Prior to treatment a numbing agent will be applied approximately 45 min prior to treatment. Multiple passes will be performed depending on your skin type and targeted concern. Heat typically builds with passes. Mechanical fan will help cool the skin during your treatment. Most tolerate this process without any difficulty.

A: Your skin will have a pink glow after the treatment and needs to be protected. We recommend an SPF 35 on a daily basis. You can return to work or resume your normal activity immediately. A cool compress may be applied if the area feels warm to the touch. A light covering of make-up can be applied if desired. A textured, rough sensation will be noted to your skin in the days to follow. This may be associated with swelling, tightness and some flaking of the skin.
A: Results are dependent on the skin condition being treated. A series of 3-6 treatments are recommended spaced 4 weeks apart. An accelerated program may be right for you. After an evaluation is performed by your medical professional, an appropriate skin care plan will be formulated. Results are protected with daily use of sunscreen and a skin care regimen designed for your specific skin type.
