Your Consultation
Whatever brings you into Alazzo Med Spa, your visit is going to start with a thorough consultation. We discuss your medical history and your goals, then we perform an evaluation of your skin. This allows us to pinpoint damage and work with you to determine the customized treatment plan to meet your goals.
Step 2
The Treatment
If we determine the Fraxel laser could help you achieve your goals, we can move forward with scheduling your treatments. Fraxel 1550 and Fraxel 1940 are a non-ablative fractional laser treatment for skin resurfacing and treatment of acne scars, surgical scars, and striae. The devices feature the unique SoftCool™ for comfort during treatment.
Step 3
Aftercare and Follow-up
Your provider will ensure you have a thorough understanding of every aspect of the aftercare for your specific Fraxel laser treatment. Your skin will have a pink glow after the treatment and needs to be protected. We recommend an SPF 35 on a daily basis. You can return to work or resume your normal activity immediately. A cool compress may be applied if the area feels warm to the touch. A light covering of make-up can be applied if desired. A textured, rough sensation will be noted to your skin in the days to follow. This may be associated with swelling, tightness and some flaking of the skin.
